What is HR outsourcing?
Outsourcing is the delegation of tasks or jobs from internal production to an external entity.  HR outsourcing is when a company hires an outside company to handle their HR functions; from helping to attract the best talent, to managing an employee database, to providing HR, benefits and payroll administration.

 

Why would a business outsource its HR?
There are many good reasons for a company to outsource some or all of its HR functions. Outsourcing your HR functions allows you to focus more time and energy on your core competencies and provides administrative relief from many employer-related responsibilities.  Sledge & Associates offer you administrative relief, allowing you to devote time and talent to developing new business and growing your profitability.

 

I don't want to give up control of my HR department.  How involved is Sledge & Associates?
You remain completely in control of your HR strategy.  Sledge & Associates only assumes as much responsibility of your HR and Benefits administrative tasks as you decide.  You'll find that you actually gain more control over your business when you become a Sledge & Associates client, because you're freed from time-consuming administrative issues and details. This allows you to focus on doing what you do best—growing your business and increasing profitability—while increasing employee customer service.

 

Can I pick and choose specific HR/Benefits services needed?

Absolutely, Sledge & Associates offers a-la-carte list of services.  We can augment your existing HR department by performing specific services to fulfill particular short or long-term needs.  We can also help with special projects and overflow work.

 

How would my employees receive HR customer service if there is no permanent on-site HR person?

Our goal is to meet and exceed your expectations in every way.  You will be assigned an Account Manager as a single-point of contact for employee inquiries from 8 AM - 6 PM, Monday to Friday (Eastern Standard Time). 

 

I may be interested, but I don't think my business is large enough for your services. How do I know?

Our services benefit emerging companies (young start-up ventures) to small business with as little as 1 employee to 150 employees.  All small businesses in every industry can achieve more value and quality in their HR and Benefits administration by outsourcing some or all of its HR and Benefits functions to Sledge & Associates.

 

What if I already have an HR person or department?

Sledge & Associates can work with your existing HR team to enhance their effectiveness. One thing we know for sure is that all HR departments can use additional help for special projects, spikes in workflow, absence of key personnel (i.e. vacations, family leave, etc.) and consulting.

 

What is the process for retaining services?

Sledge & Associates will first assess your business needs, create a plan of action and match the resulting plan to its talent pool of professionals.  Professionals are retained after they have been thoroughly screened by Sledge & Associates and approved by the client.
